Twenty 21 Books Ltd specialises in fine art books, artists' books, auction and exhibition catalogues, monographs, dealer publications and specialist reference works, with a particular focus on British and European art, ancient art and archaeology, Asian and Islamic art, ethnographic material, photography and design.​

Through private sales, curated auctions, acquisitions and specialist collection services, we connect exceptional books with collectors and institutions worldwide. We also work with collectors, estates, galleries and institutions looking to sell or source individual works, libraries and archives, providing discreet advice on valuation, provenance, research and the most appropriate route to market.

Alongside books, we seek out printed sources of provenance and research interest: annotated catalogues, private collection publications, gallery material, dealer catalogues, exhibition records, art journals and other material that can help illuminate the history of an artwork, collection or artist. ​​Our research service draws on these physical holdings to help researchers, collectors, dealers and institutions locate relevant publications and historical references. Where appropriate, individual pages or extracts can be scanned on request, allowing information held in specialist and often scarce printed sources to be accessed remotely.

We are interested in acquiring complete or partial art libraries and specialist collections, whether formed by collectors, dealers, artists, academics or others with a particular interest in art.
